Perched high above Lake Taneycomo on a steep, scenic hillside, Cliff Haus is a nearly 100-year-old stone home that feels more like a European chateau than a lake house. With castle-like architecture, hand-hewn wood details, exposed beams, and sweeping sunset views, this three-level retreat is ideal for guests who appreciate history, craftsmanship, and unforgettable scenery.

This is a home with soul, character, and story — thoughtfully maintained to honor its age while offering modern comforts.

- 2 Queen beds

- Three full bathrooms (one on each level)

- Two feature updated walk-in showers

- The lower-level bathroom is more rustic and original, located within a larger utility/muck room — full of vintage character and best suited for casual use

- Warm, inviting living spaces with stone walls, wood ceilings, and exposed beams

- Multiple TVs throughout the home

- Washer and dryer for guest convenience

- Fireplaces are decorative and non-functional at this time

Important Safety Note:
Due to the steep cliffside terrain, venturing down toward the water is not permitted. There is no direct lake access from the home. The lake is best enjoyed from above — where the views are truly exceptional.

Comfort & Climate:

Cliff Haus is a historic, three-level stone home, and maintaining identical temperatures across all levels is not always possible. To ensure guest comfort year-round, we provide:

- Fans and space heaters

- Operable windows with screens for fresh-air circulation

- An attic fan to help cool the upper level when needed

Many guests enjoy opening windows in the evenings to take advantage of the natural lake breeze.

Parking:

Three gravel parking areas:

- Two directly in front of the home, just off the street

- One across the street in front of the garage

- Additional parking available directly in front of the garage

- Parking is street-level, with stairs leading down to the home
